Cookie Policy
This Cookie Policy explains which cookies RealTeasy uses and how you control them. Nothing beyond essential cookies is set until you make a choice in the consent banner; no choice means no tracking.
1. Cookie Categories
Our consent banner offers four categories, matching the toggles in the preferences dialog:
- Essential (always on), required for the site to function: your session, security tokens, and your cookie choices themselves. These cannot be disabled.
- Analytics, lets us record page visits with device and traffic-source detail so we can see what's used and improve it. Without this consent we keep only anonymous aggregate counts.
- Marketing & Advertising, reserved for measuring marketing campaigns.
- Functional, remembers optional conveniences and preferences.
2. The Cookies We Set

Analytics recording (when consented) happens server-side against your visit, so there is no third-party analytics tag in your browser and we load no advertising or ad-retargeting trackers.
3. Third-Party Scripts That Do Run In Your Browser
These are not advertising trackers, but they are third-party code and they can set their own cookies or storage under their own privacy policies, so you should know they are there:
- Google reCAPTCHA, on sign-in and registration pages, to tell humans from bots.
- Google Places, address autocomplete in the property forms.
- Google Sign-In, only if you use "Continue with Google".
- Firebase Cloud Messaging, only if you enable push notifications.
These load because a feature needs them, not to profile you for advertising.
4. Changing Your Preferences
You can change your choices at any time via the control (also linked in the site footer). Your new choice applies immediately; withdrawing analytics consent stops detailed visit recording from that moment.
