2. What we offer
RealTeasy is a software service that produces automated, AI-generated property value estimates and market analysis for the South African residential property market, across three modules: Property Scan (analysis of a public listing you link to), Home Value Estimate (analysis of a property you describe to us), and Snap & Scan (photograph a for-sale board and we try to find the matching listing). The service also includes a property watchlist, portfolio and deal-pipeline tools, an AI support assistant, and free bond and property calculators.
We are not property valuers. A RealTeasy report is a statistical estimate produced by software. It is not a valuation, and we do not perform any act reserved to a valuer registered under the Property Valuers Profession Act 47 of 2000. See our AI Disclaimer.
We are not an estate agency, we do not market property, and we are not a party to and take no commission on any transaction. We are not affiliated with any listing portal or agency.
3. Prices and payment terms
All prices are shown in South African Rand, inclusive of any applicable taxes, on our Pricing page and again before you confirm any charge. Subscriptions are billed at an introductory price for the first period and at the standard price on each renewal thereafter, until cancelled. Reports are paid for with credits, and the credit cost of any chargeable action is displayed before you confirm it. Full terms: Terms & Conditions.

4. Payment security
Payments are processed by Stitch, a South African licensed payment provider. Card and bank details are entered on the provider's own secure infrastructure and are never received, transmitted or stored by RealTeasy. Our site is served over TLS, passwords are stored only as salted hashes, and access to production systems is restricted to authorised personnel. We hold no card data, so there is no card data with us to breach.
5. Cooling-off, refunds and cancellation
- Cooling-off: a 7-day right to cancel a new subscription without reason or penalty applies under section 44 of ECTA, subject to the service not having been fully performed with your consent. See the Refund Policy.
- Cancellation: self-serve from your subscription page at any time.
- Refunds: Refund Policy.
6. Complaints and dispute resolution
Complaints should first be sent to hello@realteasy.co.za with your account email address and a description of the problem. We aim to acknowledge within 2 business days and resolve within 15 business days.
If we cannot resolve it between us, you may refer the matter to the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud (CGSO) (www.cgso.org.za, 0860 000 272), or to the National Consumer Commission. Nothing here limits your right to approach a court.
To report unlawful or infringing content, use our Notice & Take-Down procedure.
7. Codes of conduct and industry membership
RealTeasy is not currently a member of the Internet Service Providers' Association (ispa.org.za), the industry representative body recognised under ECTA. We align our take-down practice with its standards, but we do not claim the ECTA Chapter XI limitations of liability that membership carries.
